I'm super excited about my new 'tag line'. I've been thinking about this for a long time and trying to come up with a short phrase that describes me and my jewelry line. After some soul searching and some help from Darian Chavez from DNC Consulting and voting from my FB friends and family, I decided on "Capture the West". As you may or may not know, I love all things Western!! Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, Utah is where I feel at home and of course, I live near the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. I'm so fortunate to look out my window and often see Elk, Deer and the occasional Bear. Western clothing, boots, hats, jewelry and furniture inspires me as does the beauty around the Western states. I've had horses most of my adult life and spent many, many hours horseback. Having just been in Saratoga, Wyoming, and seeing all the wide open spaces makes me feel whole and at peace. I fear that the West is vanishing due to the rapid growth and popularity of these states. Not near as much open space as there once was and I see the wildlife being pressured to move to smaller spaces. I'm fascinated with the old West and how life once was and I hope that we can preserve the West. My jewelry line definitely has a "Western" feel while also somewhat contemporary. My friend calls "Western Chic" and I love that description! So "Capture the West" will now be associated with my brand and my logo. What do you think? I'd love to hear your thoughts.
